Axis 360 Get Started

Getting started for the iPhone/iPad

From your device, open the App Store (You must have an Apple ID to access the App Store.)

Search for Blio

Tap FREE, INSTALL APP (You may be asked to create security questions to secure your Apple ID.)

Follow any download instructions, Tap OPEN

From your device, go to http://www.blio.com

Tap New Account (top right)

When done, tap SUBMIT

Tap "Sign Out" and close the web browser

Log in to Axis 360 using your library card ID & PIN to check out eBook titles. (See "Download eBooks from Axis 360 instructions.")

Getting started for the Kindle Fire

From your device, tap Settings, then More.

Tap Device and then allow installation of Application.

Toggle switch to ON and tap OK.

Open your web browser.

Go to: http://bits.blioreader.com/ update.

Choose the link named KNFB Blio 3.0.1 PROD.apk.

Tap the number in the upper left of the Kindle. KNFB Blio 3.0.1 PROD.apk will begin downloading.

Tap the file KNFB Blio 3.0.1 PROD.apk.

Tap on Install in the grey area under the permissions.

Tap Done when Install is Complete.

From homepage carousel, tap Blio to launch the app.

Tap Create an account.

Fill out registration to create a Blio ID & password.

When done, tap Create account.

Log in to Axis 360 using your library card ID & PIN to check out eBook titles.

Getting started for the Nook, Sony Reader & Kobo Family devices

From your computer, go to www.adobe.com/ cfusion/membership/

Click Create an Adobe Account

Complete the registration form

Write down your Adobe ID & password

Then go to www.adobe.com/ products/digitaleditions/

Install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software on your PC or MAC

When done, activate ADE with your Adobe ID & password

Open Axis 360 and select & check out title in EPUB format (See instructions Download eBooks from Axis 360 below)

Download title to your computer

In ADE, transfer title to Nook via a USB cord

Getting started - Download eBooks from Axis 360

Go to clymer.axis360.baker-taylor.com
Enter title, author, or subject in search box
To search, click Search (magnifying) icon; and/or
To select eBook title, place cursor on book cover
Select applicable format: Blio (iPad, iPhone, Kindle Fire); EPUB, PDF (Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo)
If you prefer a checkout period less than 14 days, Add to Checkout List
Click Ok to confirm
Click My Checkout List in the upper right corner
Place cursor over right end of lending period bar, click and slide to the left to modify due date to the desired loan period (minimum loan period is 1 day)
Scroll down screen to Confirm Checkout
If you prefer the maximum check out period of 14 days, click Checkout Now
Login, enter your library card ID and PIN
Login, enter your Blio account email address and password or activate ADE with your Adobe ID & password (If you did not create a Blio or ADE [Adobe Digital Editions] account, you must do this before you can check out an eBook title from the Magic Wall).
Successful check out confirmed, click Ok
Enter your Blio ID & password, and click Login
Click OK (the title will be delivered to your device)
To read, open Blio reader on your device (Get Books), Tap DONE
EPUB & PDF, Click Download to download the title to your computer
In ADE, transfer title to your device via a USB cord

If you do not see instructions for your eReader device on the BLIO download web page, please consult your instruction manual. Some eReader devices are not compatible with Blio.
