Volunteer Profile
Last year, volunteers graciously gave over 9,500 hours of their time to the Clymer Library. Needless to say, volunteers are a large and important part of our organization.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life to give back to their community. It does not matter whether or not you’ve volunteered at a library before, there are a wide array of ways that you can help make a difference.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers may work as few as one shift per week, with each volunteer shift being 3 or 4 hours in length. Volunteers are needed for a variety of library responsibilities:

• Checking In/Out Books
• Shelving Books
• Help with Story Hour
• Shelf Reading
• Technical Tasks
• Telephone Work
• Clerical Work (Typing, Filing, Etc)
• Helping People Find Books
• Working with Computers
• Working with the Internet
